Rotary Awareness Day Print

Rotary District 7720 held it's first ever "Rotary Awareness Day" to get the word out informing the local community that Rotary is here to support them. Havelock-Cherry Point Rotary members gathered on Saturday, 9 April to sponsor the "Interfaith Refugee Ministry" of Craven County that helps newly arrived immigrants in their resettlement into NC with the help and support of the US Department of Immigration. Club members collected a trailer full of household items, i.e. cooking utensils, dishes, beds, linens etc. The day went very well.
